Wasn't Faz favourite for Man of Steel for about two thirds of last season?

Wish all his seasons were that poor.

he certainly deserved the plaudits from last night but he has been playing silly beggars quite a lot of late too, holding down and giving away one penalty too many. perhaps a slight fitness concern?
there are far worse players out there, plus he did battle on after taking the boot to his nose early on.

Faz had a bad game against hull kr compared to his high standards but last night I thought he was immense, our MOM. IMO he should be captain while lockers and McIlorum are out, similar captain style to lockers. I think we are putting too much pressure on smith with the captaincy and the kicking.

Green was captain last night, it didn't improve Smith's kicking though!

I fail to see how anyone can criticise Faz. He consistently performs week in and week out. Makes good metres in every carry, rarely misses tackles and scores more than his share of tries. He would walk into every team in Super League.

This is one position we don't need to worry about.

Could his indiscipline be down to tiredness? He looked tired at points last week and this and he was giving lazy penalties away.

Should se spell him more wisely?

Farrell was exceptional against Hull KR and also against Warrington last night. I can see no grounds for criticism.

Quite possibly. I think part of the silly penalties is he is still relatively young but given the age of our squad considered one of the senior players and has to cope with that.

In reality all forwards give silly penalties away from time to time. Warrington had one called Riley who was very generous last night.

I bet SW can. He will be having a word about the penalties IMO.

Most penalised player in the league. But has been quality so far.
