From where i was standing it looked like your 'Ultras' had enough and start fighting each other.

It was MYL 'stewards' (bouncers) and I expect nothing less every time I go to Warrington. I saw the guy who got dragged down being held by every limb by 4/5 bouncers being carried down the steps backwards and being dropped which made a hell of a noise and sounded painful, then everybody seemed to panic and surged forwards/sideways. Heard the bouncers calling him a 'little sh*t', I left straight after as I felt scared. As I was leaving the scumbag bouncers were on their way back in, rolling their sleeves up, pulling their collars up like big tough men and joking and laughing about it, all pumped up. The MYL bouncers are always overzealous and looking for trouble, all too eager to jump on people for the slightest thing. It makes everything even more tense!

Yes but that doesn't make it right. It was truly sickening to see and is something that shouldn't be happening. The police agreed with us and if something is not done this will just continue to keep happening.

From what I could see some wigan fans were rattling the advertising boards and a steward was trying to make them stop and instead he grabbed the lad around the neck. Got other stewards to help him drag him down the steps and quite rightly the Brigantes went and tried to help. The lad was just helpless and got mauled by the stewards. It was a complete disgrace the way he was treated and to think that the stewards were laughing, posing for pictures on the pitch and generally taking the mick out of our fans who were rightly disgusted by what had happened should cost them their jobs.

I thought it was a good atmosphere, then again I wasnt actin the big I am after a shandy too many

I would be surprised if the lad didn't end up in A & E it was so bad. No matter what anyone had done it didn't deserve the treatment it got.

Hopefully it was all picked up on CCTV. A family member of mine was seriously injured by two MYL bouncers and it sounds very familiar, what with the choke hold and other bouncers wading in, and he hadn't done anything wrong either. I hate going anywhere and seeing MYL as it makes me feel even less safe.

So Wigan start fighting EACH OTHER and your whining about stewards banging heads FFS get a life. Misbehave, suffer the consequences, stewards doing their job dealing with mindless n.bheads.....well done and we congratulate them.. What annoys me is there are PLENTY of decent Wiganers and they are good fun. Never seen aggro at a Wigan game before.....shame

We are supporters aged 50 years plus and we were down near the bottom of the stand but cannot see behaviour like that and keep quiet.

There was no fighting, just steward brutality.

Sir you have the vision and understanding of a newt.....I appreciate and understand 'bias' but to say there was no fighting is laughable and on a par with the Iraqi Media Minister denying an invasion.....
Oh, for the record....I was there and saw what happened, so your insightful comments show you for what you actually are?

I was stood at the bottom right in front of the stewards, I heard who I assume was their manager tell one steward to go and tell the Wigan fans to stop banging on the advertising boards, he goes up then 1 minute later a load of his colleagues follow and come down the steps carrying a lad, they dropped him on the concrete, picked him up and dragged him out again, I can't see what could have happened in one minute fr him to warrant that treatment.

It's also worth noting,outside the stadium,the back of the Warrington stand sounded like it was going to come out because of Warrington fans banging on the advertising boards, does anyone know if the stewards went up to them?

If anyone saw anything that was illegal contact either club or the police, this is already going down the inevitable childish bickering route.
