I fully appreciate the system Lactics have in place as it's there to keep the fans segregated but surely somebody could have sorted out a seat for Roy Keane. I'd have like to have seen it sorted for the simple fact he was prepared to be a paying punter in the first place when that surely isn't necessary for him.

Why does it make Latics a laughing stock? Selling tickets to away fans in home stands is illegal. The police have agreed to the systems Latics have in place.

the funniest bit about the whole story is the latics fans who are commentating on it blaming this situation for their ridiculously low attendence aswell as home and away fans actually being a problem in football just shows how ugly of a sport it can be.

That's a very good point. Just because he's famous doesn't mean they should change their policies.

If everyone else has to abide the rules, is there a reason why he shouldn't? No.

The Latics statement looks to have put this one to bed so that even a 7 year-old can follow the logic and reasoning. However, I guess when you have a huge chip on your shoulder about the fame and profile our fellow sporting team gets compared to Wigan RL, reasoning and logic are in short supply.
