Shouldn't the title of this thread be "Moore cleared"? The charges against him were dismissed, so he is innocent.

Not really because the charges were dismissed because some witnesses didnt show so he is not innocent he was let off.

Though to be fair "let off" is just a colloquialism anyway. What you're thinking of is "gets away with it."

Shocking really but we have a little thing in English Law that states you are innocent until proven guilty. He hasn't been found guilty therefore......................

We don't have the verdict of 'not proven' in this country (although they do in Scotland), just guilty or not guilty.
