| 1) All 3 of the new boys, for obvious reasons - theyve come with the good reputations but will they fancy Salford on a cold February night?
2) Sam Tomkins - sit back and watch him tear apart each and every SL team.
3) Gareth Hocks return.

| Hock. Simple as that.
Don't expect much from Aussies in 1st season.

| Can't wait to see the 3 new boys. Hoffman is coming into his prime and could be devastating in super league, same for Lima. Not sure about Finch, I hope people don't expect him to do as much as Barrett, I just want him to fit into the team.
Aside from those 3....
McIlorum - Piggy has left and this guy now has a key role and a massive oppertunity to take the number 9 shirt for years to come. He was class in the play-offs and I think he can do it.
Roberts - If this guy returns and half the form he showed at the start of last year then I can't see anything but Wigan claiming an early top place spot like last season and sticking with it.
S Tomkins - His 2nd full season as a first team player, he is already one of the best full-backs and stand-offs in super league. He is a Wigan lad and could be the heart of this side for the next 10-12 years, he is probably the best back this country has produced in the last 10 years. I just cannot wait to see him develop another year.

| Away from Wigan I'm looking forward to seeing the following.
Mason
Westerman
Rhys Evans
LMS
At Wigan it's got to be the three new signings plus the continued development of people such as Mossop, McIlorum and Farrel. Then again I'm just looking forward to the season in general at Wigan next year.

| Amos Roberts for me as well.
A good off season and it will be very interesting to see if he can reproduce the form of last year pre injury.

| Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Here's hoping he makes a full recovery from injury and can get back to the form he showed last season, when he set a new standard for wing play in the SL era.

| Jeff Lima - don’t know why cos I don’t watch any NRL, but somehow I reckon he will become a firm fans favourite.
Amos Roberts – for all the reasons already mentioned. If he gets and stays fit just watch him go.
Lee Mossop – I do believe he could be the best of all of our (excellent quality) second rowers, if he stays fit and realises his potential.
Also : The return of Hock, Finch & Hoff, Farrells continued improvement.
Non Wigan : Will be interesting to see how Westerman goes at Hull, Ainscough & Diskin at Bradford, Mason at Hull KR, and Mathers at Cas! (Tee Hee)

| Of the new signings, I'd say Lima most.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Leuluai goes at 9 though.

After seeing Tommys performances as starting hooker for NZ in this years 4N I dont think we have got anything to worry about in this dept , especially rotating with McIlorum if he has a big pre season and continues to kick on from the excellent form he was showing at the back end of last season.
Obviously as with every one else I am looking forward to seeing the 3 aussies. But also want to see how the Wigan lads react to the competition, for example Farrell was outstanding when he broke in to the team and if he kicks on its going to be difficult not to find a place for him in the 17. Exciting times!

| Aside from the new signings and Hock:
1. McIllorum - Big effort in the final, he needs to step it up a gear now that Piggy's gone and I've got a feeling he will. Love his aggression, especially as it's showing in the right way. Definitely the guy you want on a cold, muddy night in Salford.
2. Mossop - I know there's a lot of competition in the pack but I just can't see how we can leave this guy out. My favourite aspect of his game is when the opposition are taking it out of the 20, he stops them finding the floor, forces them back and stops the quick ptb.
3. Prescott - The end of the season came at the wrong time for Prescott, I'd been bagging him all year then he came out with great performances at the end of the year. If he kick on next year he'll be very fun to watch!
