| Everytime I watch it makes me think that I would love a Rugby League version of football's "Time of our Lives".
How good would it be to listen to "Gregory, Edwards and Westy" talk about their days at Wigan for an hour whilst being interviewed by Stevo / Eddie.
I really do think that SKY could grab 3 players from each of the following teams, grab some footage :
Hull (Early 80's)
Hull KR (Early 80's)
Leigh (Early 80's)
Widnes (Late 80's)
Wigan (Early 90's)
Stains (Late 90's)
Bradford (Late 90's)
Leeds (Mid 00's)
Would make a great series, and something refreshingly new!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Top idea. I'd definately watch the whole series. Shouldn't cost much to make. Do Sky 'do' pre-SL though?

Be cool to do something similar to the NFL's "America's Game." They really are special programmes.

Great idea, now all you have to do is get in contact with Sky and put your thoughts to them.
If they accept your idea tell them you want some commision.

I had a similar thought last night, do we have the personalities to replicate "The Footy Show" over here. Im sure we do, Boots n All is fine but it doesnt touch The Footy Show in terms of entertainment, particularly as you Offiah's round up on Sunday aswell as Boots n All The Tries programme to have seen most of the tries.

| Wells was very good and although many dont like him I think that Cullen gives a good analysis of games too. Carney, Wells and Cullen should definately get an increasing amount of airtime with Hemmings phased out and Stevo given a lesser role (as already seems to be happening to some extent).

| Every time I watch a game with the Australian commentators (like SOO yesterday) I despair at how bad the British lot are in comparison.

Personally, make it Leigh early 1970's, Widnes, late 1970's. Wigan late 1980's and Leeds circa 1977/78. As a filler between breaths, how about St Helens under Mick Potter? Also, whilst I enjoy anything rugby league, I do wish they would replace Martin "umm, erm, Ahh" Offiah on the Sunday night round up.

| Jon Wells was excellent.
Sad to say though, perhaps he was brought in due to Paul Cullen being away on compassionate leave.
Maybe SKY could provide room for both Wells and Cullen as I do like them both on the show.
Even better would be if Jon Wells could be given the Sunday evening 9.30pm slot on SKY Sports News instead of Martin Offiah.

Cullen has also improved this season but still puts too much emphasis on the PTB but it would be great to have 2 different views on the game.
