Think its just a mini advert for the match to be honest to try and get it sold out.

| Repeat it time and again but i don't care who buys all these tickets aslong as they're sold.
Our form has picked up so i'd expect out ticket sales to do so aswell as thats how alot of Wigan fans work.
THis is a huge game for Wire and they are also preforming well. They've not had as many of these types of games as Wigan have had even in the past 5 years so they're excited.
It should be a cracker.

| Its going to be a sad day win or loose on semi final day because we are going to be outnumbered at semi final for the 1st time in a dont now how many years. Why can we get over 11000 against the frogs yet not sell over 4000 for a game just down the road.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

You are probably right but it's just a silly article. Why not just say tickets are going fast or something like that.

Far too mant people at our place are getting giddy about the semi in my opinion. Wigan have really impressed me since Hock incident and doubt over Noble's future with some impressive wins. We are looking shakey with injuries now and I expect many people to come crashing down to earth on the 8th August.

Why would it be sour grapes? It just proves that we have less glory hunters than you do. You haven't been to a semi final since 2004, we've been to many. Yes I'm slightly disappointed that we won't have as many fans there as I would like us to but that won't reflect on the result will it? If we're in the final by the end of the game then you can have 5 times as many fans there as us but it won't matter.

Many Warrington fans are thinking all they have to do is turn up against us with our current injury crisis, I think many are sniffing the glory already and do every year which is why they get laughed at from other clubs, not just Wigan. We've heard it so many times that it's going to be Warrington this, Warrington that. In reflection your a nice little club but your no Wigan or St Helens for that matter.

Actually your wrong, i think this match could go either way tbh, and i wouldnt even put us as favourites, but we have the right to be confident, we are playing well and you have injuries. Its called supporting your team at the end of the day, and i will support us whether we're favourites or underdogs

| Why is Gatcliffe banging on about the semi?
The bloke should concentrate on his day job and fill the HJ first.
They didn't fill v Saints or us this year and they usually do.
Gatcliffe needs to get his priorities right and fill his own ground.

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

Of course it can go either way. Two mid-table teams, both with injury problems and inconsistent form. I think the difference is Wigan fans have seen no green shoots of recovery, and have almost no confidence in the team and the coach, whereas Wire fans have seen Tony Smith come in and rejuvenate their squad and start putting some good form together. The position of favourite or underdog is mainly perception anyway, and matters not once the game starts.
