il signs the players - noble provides a wish list, IL signs them or his choice on his terms - hence why we have mark riddell and not michael ennis at 9. IL thought ennis was too much money and came back with riddell - undoubtedly similar to the signing of roberts?

This excuse is getting tattered round the edges.
IL and BN are both responsible for signings. Wigan don't recruit unless the head coach okays it. BN was more than happy with both Riddell and Roberts. |

That's the one. I remember him telling me in Oz Riddell was his second choice but couldn't remember the name of his first. Thanks for that, been bugging me for months |
