It is mentioned in tonight's Wigan observer that it is understood we have signed Matty Smith but that we are also after Rangi Chase. I personally would love to have Dobson and Chase but the only one that seems nailed on at the moment is Smithicon_sad.gif

How condescending is this post. A few years in the limelight after eight playing also rans to Leeds, Bradford & St Helens and you think players will quite happily sign without a thought to current contracts.

I'd say the majority of current SL players would jump at the chance to play for 'Wigoon' given the right circumstances.

wigan fans arrogance reminds me of the late 80s early 90s when you were the only full time club so it wasnt a level playing field but now your on a good run and your the best club in the world unbeatable but i dont remember you in the grand final last year . Oh and i seem to remember after the first game you all calling for wanes head very fickle

Wigan are an outstanding team who i think will get better. I can fully understand the pride in this but is there any need to be so condescending to other sides? Wigan are better than Rovers but we certainly arnt poor.
Michael Dobson would also walk into any teams 17 in this country.

He wouldn't walk into Wigan's current 17 and I would say the same for Warrington and Catalan.

Hull KR are a poor in comparison to the top clubs. For Hull KR to be a top 8 club in the Premier Rugby League competition in the UK, says more about the poor level of competition rather than how good Hull KR are.

Whilst you are clearly improving on where you have been. My current position on things are that there are approx 11 teams in Super League who are just that....poor. Even St Helens currently in 4th, sacked their coach have been god-damn awful this season, so have Leeds (the current World Club Champions) not even in the play off positions, Huddersfield these last four-five weeks..garbage.

In truth Wigan, Wire (with Catalans there or there-abouts) are the only ones showing anything like good form this season.
