Regardless of whether he will or will not play I hope this is not the end of the road for Morley, loves the game, gives it his all and seems a decent enough bloke and to have problems with your sight must be horrendous and wouldn't want any player to have to end their career that way so I wish him well.

id much rather see him retire than do himself some serious harm. great player past and present and someone that wore is heart on his sleeve but his priority has to be his health and his family and if that means retiring then he should. be horrible to see him take a big shot to the head and something go wrong. I love rugby league but its not worth doing yourself some serious damage for. we always be remembered as one of the great british forwards whenever he decides his career his over.

If he plays he plays, if he doesn't nothing changes. Wire will still have seventeen players determined to win the game, just as we will. It won't change Maguires attitude to the game.

Anyone who's said he's rubbish/past it etc are crazy. He's winding down a little due to the obvious(age) but is still a top player and if nothing else his presence is massive. He reminds me of Cunningham in his last couple of years at Saints in that he may not be the all action, 100mph player he was but he's still a very good player and a world class leader who inspires those around him.

If he misses out on Saturday it'll lift Wigan but if he makes the miracle recovery some people on here expect it will make the Wire players feel 10ft tall and it'll make the Wire fans lift the noise even more.

We'll see.
