Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

He would make a first class head coach and if he wants it, he should get it. Can't quite believe people are arguing that the game's most decorated player and a man steeped in the game's methods and traditions hasn't served his time in League! His recent union background and experience of life outside Wigan RL is a bonus in that he will approach the job with fresh ideas as well as a respect for what has already been achieved.
Worrying for Wales RU though (I say with my daffodil and dragon hat on)

My wifes cousin is a good friend of Shaun, he used to hide out at his house when the press were chasing him all the time when he was playing for Wigan.
As far as he knows, unless something dramatic has occured to have changed the situation he is not coming back yet. He has signed for a further 2 years at Wasps and wants to see his kid grow up and to finish his education before he moves back up North.
Having said that he would love the chance to coach Wigan in the future.

On the subject of Shaun and Wasps they have signed Chris Mayor from Gran Parma in Italy..
He is an ex St. John Fisher lad just like Shaun who was briefly on our books before crossing the great divide to RU and Sale, then Northampton.
It would be interesting to know how many professional players the school has produced, it is a conveyor belt of talent.
