i think in the end both parties are happier.

Mathers was never going to do it for us, was stuck in a rut at wigan and needed a change. I dont think there will be many wigan fans bemoaning his change in form. Always gave 100%, just didn't and never was going to happen with us.

Plus we got Gleeson who is a class player, hasn't sparkled a huge amount yet, but he's been playing in a poor team who rarely get any ball to the right hand side of the pitch.

It happens players just don't settle sometimes thought this with King last season but he's a new player this season along with Mathers got to think its down to one man and that is Tony Smith.

but its just as likely to be the fact that King has had a chance to settle in a completely new country, as well as that he's playing more as a winger now than a centre [i think].

With mathers, he was always a decent player, just came to wigan on the back of a horrendous injury, and we as a club then got on his back and since then his confidence was shot whenever he pulled on the cherry and white.

Kings been playing between the two this season think he said wing was his best position but he's been at centre the last few games and keeps scoring.

Just seen the highlights on the SL site. Mathers made a good break for Riley's try but it really would annoy me if I was a player how Mathers always jumps in the scorers face after they've scored.
