Watching Wigan tonight for me was interesting. For effort they gave absolutely everything they could give.

However i am concerned how we couldn't finish, Warringtons defence was awesome but, the team lacked the composure to convert their chances.

My 2nd concern is for me i don't see many leaders out on the pitch, not many voices, not much shouting going on, maybe i am being picky but this isn't the first time i have seen this.

Looking at some of the players Riddell concerns me i am still stunned as into why he was signed in the 1st place?

I also dont see Amos Roberts etc, maybe it's just me, not sure but they don't fit in.

The question is from a 4 match winning streak and now back to 2 straight defeats where do we go from here?

Consistency is a real problem for us as it is for alot of teams in the league, would i be wrong to say that maybes its time to let go of Noble? or would i be being 2 harsh!

I just think the teams in danger of not getting into the playoff pack, and I think lenagan maybes needs to strike.

Did Lenagan say last season that this was the season we would come good?

Quote: DaveO "At the start of the season there were lots of posts on here saying it was about time the young players got a run but that if they did, we should not be impatient with them and we should expect the odd bad game here and there.

That idea has seemingly gone out of the window with Ainscough as he is used as football in the ongoing Noble debate.

Does that very poor effort at a tackle from Carmont last week mean he is not ready to play every game? He made a bad mistake. Ainscough has had a bad game tonight and so what? He was bound to have one sooner or later. No doubt he will be dropped like a red hot brick when more established players would not had they made an equally poor mistake.

Dave'"

I don't think there is a winger in the league who would have stopped King scoring that try given he is 6 ft 4, had a free run at the ball and must have been about 8ft in the air when he caught it.

He also suffered from being brought into the game cold after having had an enforced 4 week lay off that will have dented his confidence and halted his "momentum"

Stupid playing Ainscough, and I think Sam was a bad idea aswell, but Smith wasn't available so he had no choice with that.

Didn't have a clue - Only player that stood out was O'Loughlin.'"

Quote: XBrettKennyX "Sometimes nice to watch the match on TV as you get to analyse the game properly.

- Locky - keeps coming up with schoolboy errors. You would think he would learn, but he doesn't.

- Fielden - still underrated in defence. Attack has gone AWOL.

- Ainscough - highlighted exactly why Nobby left him out previously. Totally at fault for the King try. End of.

- Tomkins- missing another half back. Lulu is a 9, never a 7.

Other than that same candidates, same performances.

Ref was awful all night btw.'"

Warrington's defence was good in that they stood firm in the tackle - but again we didn't have anything truly creative to throw at them. Honestly, did we ever really look like scoring after the first 10-12 minutes? Don't remember many (any?) last-ditch tackles by Wire.

And yes, Locker's defence was good, but it was his stupid push on Briers that got Wire their field position to score at the end of the first half. He's experienced enough to know that that jug-eared cheating little t__t will take any opportunity to milk a penalty, so he shouldn't have presented him with one. It's that kind of daft error, following excellent work, that makes people despair of Lockers and adds fuel to the fire that he shouldn't be captain.

McIlorum did exactly the same in the second half.

Coach killers I believe is the commonly used term.

All three Wire tries came on the back of our poor discipline.

Spot on. It was a well-fought game but Wire were on top for the whole 80 bar the opening 8 minutes. The moment when I knew Wire would win it was when Richards opted to kick a goal from that penalty in 2nd half well inside Wire territory. That showed you that he just knew last night that Wigan did not have the flair to beat the Wire defense. Wire, by contrast, ran all their penalties and came up with the winning tries.

We should have kicked the penalty just before half time.

Our attacking play last night was really sadly lacking in any conviction, cant really remember a clean break break we made all night...back to the drawing board for BN
Next weeks cup game is vital, and Salford seem to be on a roll at the moment.

Wembley or bust???????? C'mon Wigan turn it around next week for the Loyal Fans.
i.e Support was amazing last night

Having all the posession for the first eight minutes, you should really have been at least two scores up, if not three.
