You're right, it isn't pleasant, that's why so many people are happy it's finally cost wigan, and cost them big.
It's cost you a super league title.'"
You are just proving my point here.
Flower hitting Hohia isn't "tactics" yet here you and several others are saying you are happy these "tactics" cost Wigan a match.
It is a ridiculous conclusion to draw.

I wonder if he gave them free rein to knock people out, be reckless and create mayhem tonight....

It took Micky Mac out which was significant but without Flowers idiocy I think we would have won pretty comfortably.

You'd have won easy. Even a man down you were the better team. Makes the defeat all the more hilarious, you basically took a super league title and chucked it down the drain.

| Love the fact Stains could create an overlap outwide with a man advantage. They probably deserved to win, but how many breaks did they make? Gutted but we played brilliant with 12 men

| Quote: JackH "I thought Saints were pretty poor tonight. Played 12 men for 78 minutes and could only score 14 points. No excuses for Flower's actions because it was totally brainless, but if the shoe had been on the other foot and Saints had had 12 men I reckon the margin would have been 50+.
I'm not too bitter anyway, hope you enjoy the win. Wigan have got a very young squad, the only players 30+ are Lockers and Bowen. Confident we'll win more than one in the next 5 years or so.'"
Yes we had loads of old players. Wello is defo 30+, LMS is past 25, Lance is around 30, oh hang on, we can't count him as he was taken out of the game by that insane thug Flower. Pretty much like he took out Gaz O'Brien at Langtree Park last year only worse as he also kept going once he'd already knocked him unconcious. The rest are all pretty young, but obviously not as young as your toddlers.

Saints made 1 break against Wigan's 6 , tackle busts were even with 19 each. This suggest Saints had to resort even more to a forward game, it would have been great if we could have had Lomax, Walsh, Wilkin and Lance playing.

I wasn't trying to make a comment about the age of Saint's players, I was just saying Wigan have a good foundation right now.

I think the result would have been the same either way pal, your thick prop took out saints only playmaker, they bet you tonight with a second rower and a over the hill fullback as halfs and to top it off a prop playing for 78 minutes. Best team won I think

| Quote: DaveO "Opinions should have at least some basis in fact. No one sent off this year until Flower. Leeds have 2, Saints 1 as do several others. People saying they are pleased Wigan lost because the team is thuggish are being stupid. It's the pot calling the kettle black.'"
Dave maybe what you say is right about no Wigan players being sent off this season, but what must get other fans backs up is Wane going on record that Wigan will do what thet have to do to get an advantage ( the recent behind the scenes showing Wane saying what tactics he expexts Wigan players to resort to hurt other teams.
Also what am having trouble coming to terms with is that Wane or no Wigan player came up before the camera in the post match interviews.
