| The commentary was so predictable and boring. I actually think Eddie and Stevo are bored of RL and their jobs. They certainly sound it. Phil Clarke's statistics crap is not needed and is overkill. And that whatshisface on the pitch before the game... Why? The current sky team makes me cringe.

Someone who in the analysis said that Brent Webb had a fantastic game?! No thanks.

| i really want to see Leeds finish outside the top 8 this seasons thanks to several of their idiot fans, used to like Leeds, in fact they where my second team at one point, but recent success has gone to the heads of quite a few of their fans and they need to be brought back down to earth, and before any Leeds fans says it, i'm not bitter, i just dislike arrogance

| Anything that gets more people watching our game is to be applauded, obviously. Whether this Monday night thing works, only time will tell. With Euro 2012 on this summer it will be very difficult to tear neutrals away and it would be interesting to see if the concept works next year when there isn't any football on in the summer.
I thought the actual ideas were good in the build up with walking round the pitch etc (the BBC's pre-match build up with Robbie Paul is pretty good), but Eddie and Stevo need to go for the good of the game. They spend hardly any time talking about the game itself, in fact the action on the pitch seems like an inconvenience on their conversation. Their hearts just don't seem in it at all and it's time to give someone else a go.

| Does anyone know when the review panel will sit for Monday night games as they've already sat for the rest of the games and called up Whiting tonight (if he doesn't accept an early guilty plea). As Sinfield in on report they'll need to review and having looked again on Sky Sports Boobs this morning he might be looking at a ban (can't see it being more than one game) for a careless swinging arm. Obviously from a Wigan point of view if this is only going to be hoovered up with next weeks games any potential one game ban will be against us.
Is it really that difficult to have any disciplinary on a Wednesday in the weeks we're having Monday games so that an entire round of games can be dealt with in one go? It's the RFL, I've answered my own question.

| I'll be interested in seeing the viewing figures when they come out, to compare with average Friday and Saturday figures.

| I can see why they are trying the Monday night game but wouldn't there be more viewers Saturday at 3pm or tea time kick offs?

More importantly, there'd be more fans on the terraces at those times.

If think the Sky team is bad?, what about the BBC, they only have Ray French on to try and make Rugby Union look better...Tha's a thought, what if Sky, or the BBC had a show were people from both codes had and argument
about which code was best..What could the jolly old school ties say?. No contest!!!

| I like the idea of a Monday game for TV audiences, I just wish it was as well as a Saturday Sky game rather than instead of it. I think attendances at the ground will be affected, especially for the less glamorous games (our vs Widnes for example), but it is something that should be persevered with, most big sports leagues have a Monday night slot.

The disciplinary panel sat today. Sinfield's out come was no charge. Makinson off balance due to other tackler and Sinfield didn't use a swinging arm.

So it does look like they are going to do two lots of panels (on Monday and Tuesday) and if any tribunals are required, doing them on Tuesday and Wednesday - only in RL. Is it really so difficult to do a panel on Tuesday morning and then tribunals on Wednesday evening?
