It wasn't every other week, just if we lost and the usual pee and wind merchants looking for the usual comfort blanket. Lenagan prefers to do his correspondence with the RFL in private and has said as much in the past. For all we know Madge might have been on the phone to Cummins like a stalker every Monday he just didn't whinge and whine like a 7 year old to the papers when we lost, which is essentially what some people seem to want.

I much prefer that option.

IL and Madge give very little away. IL is very clandestine in his operations and when he does decide to voice an opinion it usually has more clout.

Regarding Wane

I may be in a minority (might be the opposite) but i feel that at points this year, we have performed much better than we have in a very long time and i include MMs tenure. The only problem we have had is a lack of consistency during an 80 minute period.

If SW feels the need to inform us of every little gripe he may have, either with the players or the Refs, then so be it.

It will only be a rod for his own back unless we are winning.

The stalking or 7 year old option?

Just with regards to the Josh Charnley incident, I was convinced that it was a penalty to Wigan when I saw it, but did anyone one else hear on sky its off side, first against you then Warrington. Then a few minutes later you hear someone ask him what was the penalty about down there and he says Josh Charnley tackled him in the air?

Ok the wording is not likely a 100% but I am sure that’s what I heard.

The ref was the same for both teams and in all fairness he didn't favour one over the other. It's a stupid idea compiling a video and comes across, at least to me as a last grasp at shifting blame.

What Wane needs to do is sort out the team, not play injured players and have Lima, not Lauiki starting. Any coach openly blaming the ref is a shameful thing to do. We are beginning to look and sound like Hull did under Agar.

Wane could have done all of this behind closed doors. Other coaches do and with no fuss made. As soon as it's mentioned in the press it just looks like he's been a sore loser, and the more he says that he doesn't blame the ref for the defeat the more it will seem like he's protesting too much.

If all coaches sent these videos in they would be there all week just watching them! The officials were crap and we got the poor end of the decisions but the players had to opportunity to take the game out of their hands. I would be more concerned at how the hell we managed to lose that game with the field position and balance of play etc. Thats a lot more annoying than the crapness of referees in super league.

It might be a bit of gamesmanship from Wane, like Alex Ferguson does at Man U. Have a good go at refereeing just before a big game in the hope that 50/50 decisions go your way in the big game? Just a thought but we might end up with Silverwood again v Saints and this gripe might make him think twice about one or two decisions. Just a thought but he must have his reasons and he must know how it looks.
