Well listening to GMR, even Jack Dearden was saying Cas were on the wrong side of plenty of decisions by Mr Bentham. If it's him next week it will be interesting.
In the past Stuart Cummins has always said the refs performing best will get the big matches, so that should rule out Bentham and Ganson.

How are refs picked for the game?

Decided by the RFL, not too sure what they base the decisions on, but officials are told on a Tuesday/wednesday what game they will be doing at the weekend, Which is then released on the RFL site by wednesday usually, under Match Official Appointments.

We're three wins from three with Silverwood this season - obviously, since we've won every game that Bentham's not reffed! Wire and Huddersfield (where he lost the plot badly, IIRC) away and Wakefield at home.
