2 that stand out for me are.....

1. Hanley v Saints at Wembley when he was the best player in the world and tore them to pieces.

2. Dean Bell at Headingley in 1992. It was the first time Hanley played against us for Leeds and we had a tap penalty on the half-way line. Deano (playing opposite Hanley at 13) beat the whole Leeds side to the line and we won 24-0.....brilliant!

Only the other day I was holding the ball used in the 1965 Cup Final !!!!!, I remember the Final, it was the first time I had seen us win the Challenge Cup (having seen us lose in 1963), was sat in the corner where Lake scored.

trevor lake at CP..........dove over in corner and grounded bal why about 2 foot off the ground moving parrallel to the ground, and landed 5 yard behind where he grounded it.
boston........towards end of career when he was built like a prop........just ran straight and flattened 6 or 7 players on his way to the line...no funesse, just brute force

and one i can never remeber who scored it because i was on a freebie in west stand lounge with free bar and i was a bit p!ssed.......may have been renouf?........v bulls ?........................chucking it down...kick through...chase....and dove about 15 yrd short of the line and slid along and grounded the ball .......match winner i think?

Probably Offiah rounding Tait in the CC final.

Closely followed by Hanley crabbing sideways in the CC final.

Mainly because of a combination of the occasion and the individual brilliance requierd for both - not many other players would have scored either.

Favourite international try - Henderson Gill scoring down the touchline against the aussies...............

It's weird watching that Lancs Cup Final at KR against Oldham as a mate of mine was run over by a van and killed the day before aged 15. (Especially as it was nearly 25 years ago).

Yeah that was fantastic, I was at the game but have watchedit on video several times since and remember Alex Murphy saying 'boy did he give that some pago' and it might even be the same game where I think it was Murphy who said 'if he's got a bad leg, I'll have two of them.' On the subject of best tries, the Hanley one at Wembley v Saints is one of my favourites of all time but far more recently I think that Amos Roberts' try v Wakefield which ended in his injury is one of the best individual tries I have seen in years and I'm not sure about on here but on other forums the quality of the try went largely unnoticed because of the way it ended. This season we have been lucky as fans to see some fantastic team and individual efforts this year some of which are worthy of watching over and over again. If anyone wants reminding of them, Marc on the other forum has been doing a try of the month competition since March and its on the well known video sharing website. In my opinion April in particular was a great month but they're all worth another look. Even if we fail to win a trophy this year, don't get me wrong I'd be disappointed but nobody can say we've not been entertaining or not provided good value for money.
