If everyone is fit would hope to see unchanged team with the exception of Phelps at fb and Goulding down to bench Deacon to drop out. Or happy to keep Goulding in team with Phelps on bench. Keep the momentum going. If any injury worries would be happy to see Farrell in 17.

We've had some big scores this season and they all can't be down to the wrestle tactic can they? You'd think we've been winning our games 4-0 or 6-0!!!

A good post. It has had a huge effect on the way the referee's manage our games. Steve Ganson came out with the sole intention of penalising Wigan for slowing the ruck down. The opening ten minutes were ridiculous. The more attention that is brought to it the worse it is getting. It's irritating because it's only a small part of how we are playing so well. Not to mention it's perfectly legal!

People are losing sight of the key point.

Yes, it is bloody infuriating that we are getting targetted from all sides, the real reason being, the rest of RL - coaches, pundits et al are scared to death that we are about to return to the top and stay there for some time.

I'm getting the feeling these so called top coaches or not liking the idea a youngster like maguire is making a fool of them.

it was the same when we were winning everything. People still moan that we were only dominant because we bought a team and were full time were as evryone else was part time. What they seem to not realise with their blinkers on is that there was no rules stopping any other team doing the same as what wigan were doing.

I think it shows how frustrated top coaches are becoming of the officiating at the play the ball, when a coach as respectful as Kear is commenting on it. The NRL style simply doesn't work with only one referee, especially when that one referee if of a poor standard.

That's entirely true, every fan in the league is petrified of us becoming the major force again.

And I really hope we do, they had their fun when we were bobbins and now we are back with a vengeance.

Plus we are favourites for the league and grand final! And bookies are hardly ever wrong.

erm not sure how popular i will be but:
Feka "rested" , Fielden and Coley starting with prescott, o'carrol, on bench. Mossop starting, Bailey at centre. Carmont not playing.

Not too sure Feka's defense was good enough for Maguire.

I hope the wigan coaching staff use this to fire our boys up. I hope more than ever that we absolutely smash them now, kear is trying to influence the ref already before a ball has been kicked. I bet we get penalised loads tomorrow for slowing the play the ball.

I think Kear is just having a laugh about it and he will know we aint doing anything wrong.

I think I would be tempted to try Amos at Stand-Off with his step and Sam at Scrum Half. MM and Tommy swap at 9. I would just try it and if its not working revert back to the more regular positions.

I think I would trust the judgment of a coach who has a squad of players playing like title challengers, as opposed to mediocre late bloomers.
