This is the kind of thing that really gets on my nerves about Hemmings. The guy really is a shallow, two-faced sod. All the whingeing he did at the start of the season about how Wigan were a team full of foreigners (which wasn't actually true, but he rarely lets reality intrude into his anti-Wigan obsessions), but now suddenly, the coach responsible for those selections is a gem and we're foolish for releasing him.

I'm quite sure that if Wigan were to come up with a formula tomorrow that would pave the way for a golden future for all SL clubs, Eddie Hemmings would have some kind of problem with it.
