the ref had not called held. whether KC was going anywhere is irrelevant, he was on his feet and not held. fair game. and when consider the cheap shot he got away with againt wakey i think you have some real gall complaining. if he had called held he would have been penalised. typical partisan knowsley rd crowd

You can dislike him all you want, you can question his performances for GB.
But KFC has always been a fantastic player, and i've never thought of him as a dirty player.
When you start wishing injury, then you're just embarrassing our club.
I'm guessing you've either been drinking, or this is the usual forum warrior pretend hatred and pretend wishing harm on another human being.

Yes the attempt on Prescott was a little high but in my eyes wasnt intentional, just seemed like he was giving it his all to BOOM him and missed. One thing that does stand out in my mind was when Ryan Bailey flattened mauren. A few of the saints players ran in thinking it was foul play where as cunningham who was at the side of the incident just picked up the ball and went to carry on playing. Quite easily he could have dropped the ball to go straight in but if it is fair then he willl let it go and play on.......
And I know I have probably upset some wigan fans here for drfending him but I dont really care. He is a firm but very fair player
Sorry for the little rant.........'"
Nice to see a bit of common sense in this thread.

Your posts get funnier each time, what you going to post next?
Let me guess, KC is the worst player ever to put on a RL shirt and is only half the player that Piggy Riddell is, Long is nowhere near as good as Moran was, Graham is rubbish and not as good as Coley?
Come on please enlighten us to your in depth knowledge of the game

I hope your drunk and just going overboard on the rivalry there.....
Otherwise thats an extremely stupid comment that you will regret saying.
You can hate players but wishing injuries is childish and wrong.

Yes, very good, you won a game at home against Wigan who could and should have had wrapped up with a bit more composure, by Eastmond's only real major contribution to the game against a tired defence - if you discount kicking early in the tackle count and hoisting a bomb et al in every set of course. I'm not doubting his talent, but overall he was pretty average tonight - he was far better against Warrington and Harlequins.
Glad that Saints fans are getting such a kick out of a smash and grab 4pt victory on your home ground, in conditions that favoured your depleted forward pack and disadvantaged our faster backline. Suppose its better than all the excuses about the injuries you were all spouting earlier in the week just in case - when in fact it only weakened your bench, whilst Wigan were missing their entire back row that started the season. Twitchy bums in St. Helens that the gap is closing I fear.

I'm sorry but any player who plays the game and dishes out head shots like tonight or in previous weeks vs Stosic but yet can’t handle a legit tackle by a 19 year old deserves it when he gets a taste of his own medicine imo.
I don’t care if he played of Wigan, Saints or Pats if you give it you have to be prepared to take it. The likes of Cowie, Bell & big Kelvin Skerrett dished out enough biff and took enough back to be true hard men and RL legends without looking to the ref for help.
Guess that doesn’t register on the Scouser train of thought.

Again, you can be happy all you like that he was disgruntled. However, the moment you start wishing a player injured then you're just being an embarrassment to our club.

Wishing an injury on any player isn't on in my view - I didn't agree with Cunningham getting away without a ban for the sucker punch on Stosic, but that kind of incident was the exception rather than the norm from him. I've always had the impression that he is a hard player, but by no means intentionally dirty or a cheap shot merchant unlike others in SL.

But you aint
Take a look at your back line (going off squad numbers) at the beginning of the season, some of them may have changed position I know and some may have been replaced in certain games etc
Mathers
Roberts
Goulding
Carmont
Richards
Smith
Lulu
ANd your back line tonight
Phelps
Roberts
Gleeson
Carmont
Richards
Tomkins
Lulu
Earlier in the season most of, if not all, where asking for Mathers to be dropped, SMith to be dropped and Goulding to be dropped. This has in one way or another happened, Mathers sold, Smith injured, Goulding shipped out on loan and replaced with probably the best current GB centre. IMO your back line is now stronger than it was at the start of the season

Yes I did - Bailey, Hock and O'Loughlin - were all first choice, none played this evening. Not an excuse for losing, just a fact. As it happens I thought Mossop, Flanagan and Hansen all played extremely well in replacement - J Tomkins not so much this evening, but will let him off after his performance against Leeds.

No he’s not a hard player he’s a cheap shot merchant who has been hyped up beyond all proportions by Saints fans and the media. He’s not great player as all got is the occasional powerful scoot after that he offers very little. Give me Martin Hall, Newton, Cameron Smith or Farrar any time over that one trick pony.
Cunningham isn’t this great shinning example that the scousers want us to believe he is. Look at his past in RL-
-The Hock esq allegations against him
-The walking out on his country time after time
This isn’t the mark of a true legend like Faz, Radders or even Gidley imo who you can’
What ever is dished his way he deserves.

Mossop and Hansen are better than Bailey. However it does show that Wigan have strong strength in depth in the back row and beyond.
