On the one hand we hear the Eels interest has ended, but that Wigan have given his shirt number to Farrell and told Hock to find another club anyway, on the other hand we hear he is staying at Wigan.

I am assuming that, unless there are issues that would allow Wigan to dispense with his services, they cant just say cheerio without reaching some sort of pay off arrangement.

Ignoring any other issues the man is an immense playing talent and I would have thought he would have plenty of suitors, albeit that most clubs over here have more or less finished their recruitment. Wigan are too astute though to just allow such a quality player to go, the club has been coping with big egos and spats between players and between players and coaches for years, unless of course there are other issues affecting things!

I guess we will have to wait and see!

Well if that is true that will put to bed once and for all the idea that contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Be interesting to see what Wigan say about the matter because if the saga is now over the club really ought to set the record straight and benefit from a few more season ticket renewals! I won't hold my breath though. PR is not a club strong point.
