Old news I know but Saints have been heavily linked with Josh Perry for next season.
Now it's been said for a while that it was between us and Saints for the signing of Luke Bailey so does this mean we could have won that race as they are looking at other players?
Let's hope so. Fielden and Feka out and Bailey in with Davis being our 5th choice prop like Feka is now will do for me.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

I think the point about making a step up is key for next season.
We are doing really well so far and a lot of that is down to the turn around in form of players like Fielden but if we've got the opportunity to improve on them then we've gotta take it.
One player in and two top earners out plus a talented kid getting a shot is a smart move IMO. |

The Titans pack is considered to be quite soft, but Luke Bailey is a fantastic prop forward. |

And as i've said before, rightly or wrongly, considered by the lads in the Melbourne office (a mixture of guys from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne), the biggest culprit in the being soft stakes.
Personally I'm not bothered, the guy can play rugby - but I honestly don't know what a few people are expecting from a new prop |

I know it's been done to death but what about Willie Mason for next season? Certainly no softness issues with him but does he have enough talent to excuse his attitude? IMO it would always be a yes from me but I know he divides RL fans more than Karl Pryce lol.
I really think we need that star prop at Wigan a player to match our rivals quality props like Peacock, Morley & Graham. I like the idea of having a big name/talent front rower in the side. You just can't put a price on players like that.
