| Over 6,000 tickets sold now, so should be capacity (6,200-ish) by Sunday.
Everyone who wanted a ticket has got one, so the capacity of the ground wasn't been an issued in the end. With the fans being almost on top of the pitch, and with lots of cover, it should make for an amazing noise and atmoosphere - a real bear pit.
All the Barrow fans are being encouraged to wear Blue and White, so it should be a colourful occasion as well.
Enjoy your day in God's country, enjoy the banter, enjoy the match and spread the word that Rugby League is alive and very well in one of the sport's forgotten heartlands.

Saint Simon I assume Ade is the 'Arrow'. Don't forget Les Quirk too.
The above named in the original post all hail from Whitehaven & Workington there are many more great Cumbrian names (or Lancashire as they were at the time) that come from Barrow to add to that list (and a few who played for Wigan too).

| The main problem trying to form a cubrian side is the rivalry is massive, its like asking saints and wigan to merge, its not going to happen. Barrow have a good backer at the moment, and both barrow and whitehaven are performing on the pitch. If one did make it into superleague, as i think they should, they would have a good catchment area of talent to pick from.
