The money wasted on areas such as Paris in the past, for expansionism, shows up the RFL 'mandarins'.'"

been some good players produced in cumbria........huddart, southworth, hartley, purdham, edgar, archer, stan owen (i think)...so the talents there as well |

Over 6,000 tickets sold now, so should be capacity (6,200-ish) by Sunday.
Everyone who wanted a ticket has got one, so the capacity of the ground wasn't been an issued in the end. With the fans being almost on top of the pitch, and with lots of cover, it should make for an amazing noise and atmoosphere - a real bear pit.
All the Barrow fans are being encouraged to wear Blue and White, so it should be a colourful occasion as well.
Enjoy your day in God's country, enjoy the banter, enjoy the match and spread the word that Rugby League is alive and very well in one of the sport's forgotten heartlands.
