I am very sceptical about Pongia being brought in as a conditioning coach, i would like him involved in some capacity but i feel we need the best in this department, Pongia I do not think as a specialist in this capacity is not right for the job. We must cast the net wider in my opinion, perhaps out of the sport to get the best available.

I've not a clue on that sort of job tbh. Mentioning Pongia is more of a romantic dream(not in that way) but as for the results he'd bring i haven't got the foggiest.

One thing is for sure we need somebody to whip some of these lads into shape especially feka.

Paul Stridgeon or Carl Jennings, although the kind of money Stridgeon is on as head of conditioining with the RFU would be difficult to compete with, I'd imagine.

The fact is Wigan did enquire about Bennett and that we were not given a flat 'No' initially. The fact is we were looking at the right calibre of coach as opposed to hovering around the "Sean McRae's" of this world.
