| Shocker and absolutely no need for it in what I thought was a pretty clean game apart from that, he can't complain about however many he gets.

The people defending it as “biff” are probably the same people who defended Terry newton’s antics in that infamous game.

Yup that's me on all accounts.
You know what, I loved Newton because he was obviously Wigan through and through. He'd bleed cherry and white if you cut him open. Loved the club and couldn't stand us losing. That's what I want as a fan.
Suppose I'm as low as the Saints fans who boo'd his minutes silence during the GF.

| Think you’d have to put it down to a moment of madness. Powell has always seemed a tough but good sportsman to me…..

| Absolute shocker! Should miss 6 games minimum.
All for aggression but you have a duty of care to your fellow players

Then I suggest you watch and listen your Coach Peet account on stuff like that you describe as biff. It was a brain explosion by Powell something he will regret for quite a while.

A tiny minority, to be fair, which I'm sure you see too. It looked really bad, and I'm expecting a ban comparable to Ferres on Gildart.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones,Saints have had plenty of players over the years who have overstepped the mark, most notably Sonny Nickle, now going back to the incident only an idiot would say it shouldn't have been a red although how LMS didn't get a yellow i don't know he must have run at least 10 yards to get involved

It won't go down well, but when did it stop being ok to just be a fan of a side?
I've made no bones about this - I'm a Wigan and NRL fan. GB could be playing in my back yard and I'd 1st check how the Wigan lads are doing and then I'd shut the curtains.
I go home and away and if we won 40 - 0 every week I'd be ecstatic every week. I'm not here to be a reasoned or an objective person. I'm also not feeling sorry for opposition players either. When it comes to RL there's one thing I want - Wigan to be dominant. I'll back any Wigan player that shows that same goal regardless of what they do.

How does Sam Powell getting banned for a couple of months help Wigan?

| It wasn’t great and he’ll get a few games. I couldn’t see the screen at the game, so only had the one view of it and was more concentrated on the usual LMS running in, blowing situations up and getting away with it but on having chance to view the replay, Powell deserves the ban that’s on it’s way.
Please Peet just play Brad O’Neill there. Don’t start going all Lammy on us and sticking Shorrocks in at hooker. It’s the time now to see what the lad is all about.
