As I said, it doesn't bother me much. What I cannot stand, though, is the hypocrisy of the Sky a**holes who are all, ooh, this is getting a bit tasty, and then if someone loses their temper and throws a punch, all of a sudden they are all pearl-clutching about "a disgraceful display".

It’s brain dead when you know you can’t do it. In the heat of the moment these things happen but Singleton had time to compose himself in the push and shove. I probably feel a bit sorry for Ashworth and Partington tbh. Ashworth was pushing and shoving but when he gets punched, he can’t be expected to just take it. Partington reacts to some cheap shots from Rob Buttler and again he should know better but if your teammate is getting punched from behind, I can’t really blame him wanting to give some back to Buttler.

I think they do go OTT on the bans however. I’d give Singleton and Buttler a game each and slap Ashworth and Partington on the wrists but all will get more.

I agree that bans shouldn't be long for flare-ups like this. Severe punishment should be reserved for the cheap shots. As for what will happen...

Only offensive if you were the wokiest and softest e this side of Mars. Some folk really do need to stop being so bloody soft and offended by everything. Miserable gets. Just sit in a blank room, say nothing to anybody and don't think about anything so nobody can be offended. Too many people watch and read what the BBC has to say.

Going off some of the Leigh fans behaviour yesterday, I can understand why they’d find it offensive.

Yep. Yet again they are the visiting fans who most embarrass themselves.

Some of our own fans are the same when playing away, but the majority who only attend home games never see it.
