It was NORWEB who objected to the black on the design. Said it took away from their logo.

Speaking of logos, how good would this have been on a Wigan shirt...............

It does not matter what the kit looks like. On me it will still look like a kit on a fat man.

It would have looked awful. Thankfully some gobby keyboard warrior scuppered that deal.

Can we object to the yellow sponsor! They’ve missed a trick now having it in just black.

And they had to ‘neaten it up’ to. Made the stripes on the chest squared off etc.

I like the shirt. Reminds of a golden time of being all dominant on the pitch.

But...I think it fails on the golden rule. If you’re gonna remake something; but sure to make it better.
Personally I think the original looks better.

Be interesting to see what the away kit will look like.

Hopefully blue and white squares or a bulldog style blue V.

We don’t want anything with a “V” I hate the two on the bottom of the new shirt, makes me feel ill thinking about it.

I’d love the bulldog away shirt. Also loved the Milwaukee shirt. Nice to have diversity in design once in a while.

I agree with diversity however the thought of a V still makes my skin crawl

I agree about the Canterbury style kit but unfortunately Saints have gone with a blue and white V shirt as their away shirt this year. It’s a tough pill to swallow but their away kit looks excellent.
