Hull tickets are flying out today - huge queues this morning pretty much right round the stadium. Looking forward to a big crowd.

It's all sounding good then. I get a real sense of increased excitement about this particular final. It just feels like this is going to be a big one. Maybe it is because of the memories of '85 which has attained almost mythical status over the years. Maybe it is because many people wrote Hull off and so this comes as a bit of a surprise. There does seem to be something deserving about the Hull side in all of this, especially after that epic semi final, it seems people are really pleased for them making it, and their fans, of course, are going to be supercharged for it. I also remember that when Latics beat City in the FA Cup final and all the fuss that accompanied it there seemed to be a resolve in Wigan that we would bring the Challenge Cup back too. Or maybe people are just glad Warrington aren't in it.

I'm made up for Hull making the final. They're a massive underperforming club, they remind me of Wigan under Betts/Millward/Noble - their fans deserve better.

The final should be a great occasion, I expect the atmosphere will be a proper belter.

Some of the bottom sections have now sold out, and the remaining ones only seem to have single tickets available.

We have sold 3,000 tickets today on our first day of sales. These are just people queing at the shop not including phone or tickets bought on RFL website. I can't wait going to be such an atmophere!

We have a 15,000 allocation but Hull Fc said we have an extra 5,000 ready with the RFL if we need them.

Wonder why we only have 10,000 for our first allocation and FC have 15,000?

Good stuff and here's hoping you use the extra tickets. It'd be great to see a huge crowd for a final between two the games most traditional clubs. With all the memories and stories of 85 flooding back for people it really does feel like a special 'occasion' this one.

It's pretty much the reason I wanted a Hull final rather then a Warrington one. If we get beat it will be disappointing but I'll be pleased for Hull.

Is it official we've only got 10k? I read mention of it somewhere but we seem to have an awful lot of blocks in the stadium for it only to be that many.

Im sure i read on the website on Sunday we had 10k for our first allocation. Ive just had a look but i cant find it.

Whatever it is as long as we shift them we'll do our bit. An awful lot just buy from the RFL like myself.

Probably so we can announce that we've sold out of our first lot of tickets, then there will be a mad rush for the next lot.
