Scooting from the ptb isnt always a bad thing.

Much better when it's unexpected, or you've earned some momentum from a break - but I do agree there has been abuses of players 'playing' the ball impossibly quickly from ordinary drives. Wasn't like it was a giant problem, but I'm quite happy for them to crack down on it, makes the good scoots harder and more deserved.

Hopefully this will prepare our players better for the WC, the NRL refs don't put up with sloppiness like that and I'd hate it if some of our players that are a bit slow on the uptake would suffer through them policing the ptb correctly.

I agree. It's when it's done time after time to make easy ground and no doubt is a big contribution to lack of creativity from the halves. There are certain hookers who couldn't find a man in gay brothel. Head down backside up, no vision.

If this clampdown on incorrect ptb's gets rid of them then I'm all for it.

I do agree tho, i like to see proper PTB... But like all things, we need consistancy.

Got to give the Wigan youngsters credit for today, they made a game of it and against some much more experienced players. I would have expected more from them in the second half once Dobson and co. went off and replaced by Beharrell (who played very well IMO) and Carlile.

While you didn't score again from 10mins in I still think you held the game and with 15 to go were still trying to get back in the game. There was desire from your lads.

A shame you're coming over in April and not the August fixture as it'd have been nice to see that North Stand fully open and full of Cherry and White!
