Went to Asda today where I often buy two fresh chickens for £7. They have gone up to £8 which is an increase of about 14%. Four tins of tuna in oil are always £4 but today they were £5 which is a 25% increase. Considering this, I think that Wigan's season ticket is good value for money and the percentage increase is tiny in comparison. Wigan aren't brilliant but IL is doing a great job.

It mentions in that link that Latics cheapest season ticket is the same price as Accrington Stanley - £255. @19 home games = £13.42 per game.

Sadly, a logic that could and in some cases may be applied to every SL club. Although, thinking about it, some no hoper clubs aren't worth watching at all since they won't make the playoffs. Plus the fact that the first week is meaningless for a top 4 side....... And I hate going to OT......looks like I might end up just watching the 1 game mid sept next season!  |

does anyone know if it possible to buy a half ticket for the first half of the season? just moving to sydney in july for a year and dont particularly want to shell out on a ful ticket when I can only attend the first half of the year
