As annoyed as I was Saturday I certainly won't rule us out of anything just yet. We've hit a rough patch for sure but there's time to bounce back. I don't think the lads are tired at all, they're just not in the best of form and some are lacking match sharpness.

We need our best 17 out on the field each week now to build momentum and we can add in Richards and Leuluai as and when they're right.

In reality we may get more out of that defeat on Saturdau then a win could bring. It'll hopefully wake a few lads up and get them back to working hard and put some fire in their bellies.

i'm of the opposite opinion. with and without the ball on saturday i think we looked very jaded even before they pulled away to 18-6 ahead.

of course, we had a lot of tackling to do through our own doing at times and defence tires you out blah blah i know, but i was thinking even after ten minutes or so "jeez we look knackered already"!

the CC Final break will help, but lets not forget there are still teams like Catalans & Saints etc who will also benefit from the break.

we just need some magic in a big game, which i beleive all 3 of our remaining games are in the regular rounds to put some fizz back into the players. if we can pick up a bit of morale going into the playoffs anythign can happen but i must admit i am worried about the mantal and physical pressure that the players are put under and without a key player such as tommy of late the team has struggled.

all we can do, like every teams' fans, is hope for the best and if it ends up in failure it is after all only a game.

Going off your track record of 'blowing teams off the park' only to blow it in the playoffs, think you need to tread very carefully, as Leeds and Hudds fans could quite easily remind you of!

Why am I seeing a different Wire? Winning a CC (even though you haven't yet and in your last knock out game against Leeds they beat you when you BOTTLED it in last years playoffs!), we won it last year. You looked this good last year in the weekly rounds when you won the LLS, did you reach the GF? NO! Have you done this year yet? NO! You MIGHT win both but, be careful, you could look very foolish in the end!!

If we can get a big win against Stains at a full DW and lift the dinner plate, Saturday's game will be forgotten about. The team need to focus solely on that now. It's not the biggest accolade in the game but clinching top would be a good confidence boost before the playoffs.

----gosh i seem to have touched a nerve there ,anyway,why does that myth about wire bottling it against leeds last year still persist ffs,were you at that game? i doubt it,we actually we had a few players who were not fully fit playing in that game also it took a very,very , VERY dubious descision by a linesman ( i mean,when did you ever see a linesman actually use his flag for an offside,very rare ) in the last few mins for offside which gave leeds the penalty they needed to win the game! if you call that bottling,that is your opinion,i myself call it unlucky,as in very unlucky!also ive said all season wire will get to wembley and the g/f and im standing by that,we will see in sept who is right

Why would it touch a nerve? We have won everything you have won and more and you are in with a very good chance of winning 3 trophies this year and us 2.

The old phrase 'if my ass was my elbow I would through it' comes to mind, Leeds beat you when on paper you should have beaten them and won the GF, but guess what you didn't! That is fact!

It is not about being right or wrong because that is the future, it is about the present and without doubt at the moment you are the best team in the competition, does that mean you will win all 3 trophies? Not at all!!

I didn't miss the point, I know exactly what you were trying to say and that is why I gave you that 'old phrase' because you can make all the excuses in the world, but the bottom line is you were the best team by a country mile last year and didn't win the GF, that is bottling it, irrelevant of how you lost against Leeds, because YOU LOST AND SHOULD HAVE WON EASILY!!
