3 or 4 knee cleanouts, missing preseason, missing the majority of the season plus hes not in hes 20's no more= not going to be as half as good as he was.

| Bizarre end to the game. Ridiculous TJ intervention. I could be wrong but to me it looked like Thaler wasn't that enthusiastic about giving a penalty on the say so of the TJ...

Good point
In relation to the pack generally, they don't seem to have anyone bringing the physicality and aggression of a Lima, Hock or Mossop. Morley is a shadow of the player he was (though probably not as past his sell by date as Peacock, to be fair). Westwood is capable of putting in some big hits but I'm not sure I'd swap him for Hansen, let alone Hock and for me the jury is still out on Waterhouse.
It's impossible to be unbiased but on current form which Wire forwards would get into the Wigan side if we had everyone available?

| How bad are Sinfield and Peacock? I am ashamed to call him captain of the country. Way past his best.

Westwood ahead of Faz, and Carvell ahead of Lauaki, I'd say.

| I wouldn't be writing off Wire's pack tbh. They've got a really good set of backs and their forwards have plenty more to give imo. The likes of Hill and Westwood have been playing well but some have been underperforming yet they're better players then they've shown and they'll really turn it on when it matters.
The league leaders, the grand final and the challenge cup will all be taken out by Wigan or Wire imo and even though we're playing the better rugby there won't be a great deal between the sides in knock out matches.
I'd love both the challenge cup final and grand final to be Wigan vs Wire games. The big games deserve the best sides to be in them and theres no doubt we're the best two around at the moment.

| For me I'd take Hill and Grix off their hands.
Hill because he's a good hardworking English prop, and Grix cause he can play in a vareity of positions (to a good standard) in the forwards and backs.
