To be honest, if that's your response then if sums up your whole stance for this sort of thread.
I've been accused of having a certain agenda and opinion. I've also been accused of being linked to trouble at the match;
I've come on and in what I see as a quite level headed manner, tried to explain my stance and then distance myself from such accusations yet I've been greeted with reactions like this above.

It really is no wonder some folk have an opinion of you guys.
Wonderful in an match day atmosphere sense but by heck, you don't half build a sort of siege mentality for no reason.

I have genuinely come here to clear 2 issues up. That is ALL.
I suggested a PM but am yet to recieve one. I can't send on as on the mobile site; so I continued on the thread. Now funnily enough we have a multi page thread which you guys (quite rightly) don't want to keep seeing being assosiacred with your group.

Not really it was obviously tongue in cheek (hence the wink) and you didn't do anything to warrant any filming. I was sat in a similar area to Jeff and they came back in the second half and filmed you lot again.

But Jebus, some are getting way too sensitive about the group and need a reality check as every time the group is mentioned someone goes way over the top.

Hang on, somebody posted and said you knew the said person that was ejected, nobody has accused you of anything. To be fair, and im sure you'll admit, you are usually the first to jump on the bandwaggon whenever anyone has a pop at the brigantes for some reason. The other poster JimmyBirts I think was merely pointing out that even though the OP claimed the police were there to film The Brigantes, it was none of the said group that was ejected from the stadium, it was some other moron.

I know it was tongue in cheek Andy, but you know as well as I do, that there are certain posters on these boards that wont see it as "tongue in cheek" and set off on the whole "we dont need this in the sport" debate and we'll end up with 40 pages again.

I have never linked the group to the 'individual' (who I STILL don't have a clue of).

If you want to liken my questioning of the lack of atmosphere to that of 'having a regular pop' at the group then so be it. There is bugger all I can do to change your presumptuous thinking and defensive attitude

Brigantes?

WTF are they?

I believe the OP was just letting you know that 'filming' had been taking place, he most likely didn't know that you were aware of it and was just informing your group it had happened, nobody is 'having a go' at the 'Brigantes' on this thread, a question was asked about why it was so quiet yesterday, probably because of the on field performance which tends to take away some of the fans enthusiasm, but again,the support at times was good and is appreciated by all at the club, keep it up.

Now that match atmosphere has been brought up, would it not be better all round if the Brigantes & other noise makers sat in the middle of the stand opposed to the end block?

I thought it was generally a bit drab yesterday even before the start of the poor performance.

We are heading for 50 pages at this rate





To be fair there was no drum yesterday, so a few of them might have struggled to follow. I think the Brigantes performances so far this season (albeit still good) are not as impressive as the start of last season. I don't know if something is different/less people are involved.

Still good though!

We haven't had any big away games yet. Wire will be just as good if not better, Wire at home will be rocking. Saints might be dissapointing with no drum.
