Thanks, Matt. I'm not affected but I know someone who is and I'll let them know. The club needed to say that clearly and upfront from the beginning though, so people know who's to blame and don't start (as people have here) blaming the club.

It's simple, basic PR practice and believe me, after 35 years in that kind of game, I do know what I'm talking about. Sometimes you have bad news to impart - make the best of it by being open, clear and proactive with your side of the story.

season tickets?

If you're a season ticket holder who can't attend then you can use the Season Swap scheme and notify the ticket office at least 24 hours in advance of the Huddersfield game and get a free extra ticket for a Super League home game of your choice.

Yeah we have done this, the club offered us tickets for another home game. We have season tickets so I dont see what use that is...unless we walk back out and use the free tickets.

So when you bought your season ticket at the beginning of the season you didnt know that games could be switched?

I did, but when things are announced I book other things. Like a week in France to watch wigan but will miss the HKR game due to it being moved. I thought I couldnt lose with Hudds as its advertised everywhere. Already with 2 matches missed I would be better off paying on the day than a season ticket. Any more questions?

Can they say no, due to the fact its already marketed at that date? Could they not move the Wire, Saints game?

They cant say no until after a certain cut off date. Sky obviously want the best games but have to keep it fairly even across all teams.

But the club could have requested that they remain on the Friday due to selling so many tickets and move the other game. After all we have launched a massive marketing campaign and sold over 2000 tickets.
