Other issue now is, is Roberts staying? That could impact the hooker situation as if Roberts goes, Sam will probably play full back and TL will be at 7. |

Yes I believe he is.
I've just been watching a few of the matches from earlier in the season when Roberts was at fullback & I've forgotten just how phenominal he was. He was the reason we beat Warrington (away) earlier in the season IMO. He scored two fantastic tries, setup another for Goulding with an awesome flick pass & then saved a try right at the end from David Solomona by getting his boot lodged in between him and the ball - just enough to dislodge it and for Solomona to knock on.
I really wish we had in the play offs in that sort of form. |

Amazing news, win the GF or not I believe we are now favourites for next season. We have gone from what looked like a powerpuff girl pack to a brilliant set of forwards.
Just to add, I love that we have signed Hoffman, he is a top player but I really do fear for the hooking position next year. He will be a great addition and will maybe even make the dream team, but do we need him? No, we need a hooker who is as good as if not better than Riddell.

Is Prescott signed up for next season or is he likely to now be squeezed out to make room for the players we have incoming? Bilko's site has him down as being out of contract at the end of this season, and there's been no mention of his future that I've seen.

Agreed.
It's all well and good having a great pack of forwards, but they need someone to direct them round the pitch to make them fully effective IMO. |

There is no way we would have lost 5 league games and a cup game with Roberts in that form all year. |
