Off the top of my head I'd take O'Meley, Lynch, Scruton and Vella - I'm sure there's more.

Coley is certainly having a very good season though, fair play to him.

I'd take Lynch every time. Scruton is playing well also but for me i'd rather have Coley. Vella? No chance.

I was about to say the same myself, Vella had an excellent half season last year but is otherwise average IMO

Lynch is by far the best of the bunch listed. Just below the likes of Graham, Morley, Peacock

Coley is better than Lynch imo.

Scruton could be an option due to his age and potential but he's not currently a better player than Coley

May be bias shining through but I'd also play Clough at prop for Saints before Coley - does a similar job but without the errors and penalties.

Can't agree with that at all - Lynch is comfortably better than Coley. We all have opinions though

Lynch is a better player then Coley without question imo but Coley is a fine prop and has come on leaps and bounds in the position in the past couple of years.

O'Meely and Scruton are having good seasons aswell and it's hard to split them but as for Vella he looks like he's ready to hang the boots up. He was a fine player for HKR for a spell but looks a little jaded nowadays.

The fact that it's a struggle to name a few players better than him outside the "big three" props shows just how well he is playing.

It's a shame he does have more than his fair share of errors and penalties in his game as without them he would be a really top drawer player.

If we could have taken a couple of errors and pens away from him in the Leeds cup game he'd have been the best prop on the field but they just seem to hold him back a touch. He's still a fine prop though and if we can keep him for next season along with Fielden and then bring in another prop(possibly Luke Bailey or Jeff Lima) to help share the workload whilst we keep developing guys like O'Carroll, Prescott, Mossop and Davies we'll be doing pretty well.

Add in the option of a certain Gareth hock coming back mid season to play abit of prop/second row and we'll be able to match or better most other packs in superleague.

No question that pack looks very good. The derby could see some fearsome clashes up front next year with Perry rumoured to be on his way to Saints and hopefully Soliola added to the back row

Apart from the fact that Roby looks like spending his entire career as an impact player, that is.
