But cant see it happening as to many have booked now, TBH it makes little difference to me but most others have little room for movement. From a selfish POV i would like to play somewhere different

| Hello, the Catalans wanted since long time to go to play in this stadium since the start of the season but the SL wanted we go for the Wilcats game. The problem it's one of our biggest sponsors (Région Languedoc Roussillon) is Montpellier based and the catalans wants to show there we can make a sold out game in Yves Dumanoir's Stadium. It(s very important for French RL if we full this stadium that's why we prefer play against Wigan Warriors because we think it will be easyest with Warriors crowd. I heard here there with big chance to have double header this day with Toulouse Cooperative Championship opening game. Hope your will accept change and your club accept too. Montpellier is a big city with very good ambiance and know the sea is very close, like Perpignan to Canet.

Will they not feel "betrayed" by moving the game to Montpellier?

If we realise it just in front of there eyes, they could not refuse gilbert expantion.

These are all good reasons, but the Catalan club should have sorted this out before the fixtures were published, and people have made their travel plans. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

If it's too late for many of your fans it's too late and we have to play in Perpignan.
You know we love our city and our stadium wich is only 10km from where i live.
But playing a big event of rugby league in Montpellier should be another fantastic moment for the game in south of france. Catalans are a little part of Languedoc Roussillon and Montpellier is the capital of Languedoc Roussillon.

Like i said earlier
All it would need is free transport for wigan fans whos already booked flights. 3-4 coaches wont cast the catalan club much.the outcome would be worth it if they prove they can fill a 15k stadium . |

The two clubs should get together and sort it out for next season ( 2011 ) then everyone has chance to make arrangements including the various travel agents that are involved and nobody loses money this season.
I don't want to spend an extra 4hrs on a coach ( 2hrs each way from Perps )
But I can see that the idea has merits, they know that Wigan fans would dig deep into their pockets and make the game a great spectacle, but nobody can afford to lose £200 -£300 this season.

I believed that it was Sky Sports who changed the game last year ! It was the first and only home game of super league played on sunday in four years. And YES that was a disgraceful way to treat quins fans. |
