I've never commented on whether I agree with Noble's past selections or disagree with them, feel free to correct me. I have always however indicated that Noble has given plenty of youth enough chances in his time at Wigan, and if you want to go further back in his time at GB I also commented that he got his selections wrong on a number of occasions. But if you want to put words in my mouth that were never there then go ahead.

Still, what Noble has to do with this thread is still something only you could bring up. Surprised you haven't brough up Micky Higham not being selected for Fridays game.

The way things seem to be going with Smith at present, that really does surprise me.

Absolute boll0cks. Sam was the best player on the pitch against Wales whereas Myler was the worst (bar sykes), Smith needs to go after the 4 nations because he'll be picking higham to start next.

You could see from Smiths reaction after the game that he wasn't happy with Tomkins.

I was 100% certain after the way he spoke that Tomkins wasn't going to play, especially when he started hardping on about how well Myler organised.

After last years efforts, and this years squad and now team choices, Smith is really putting himself under immense pressure.

Gutted Sams not in tbh and i think he's really unlucky to miss out because i believe he's the best of the 3 young halfs in the squad tbh but it comes as no suprise.

I'm still looking forward to seeing Myler and Eastmond play mind but i don't see the logic in having an even better player sat in the stands.

Yeah I remember thinking to myself watching that interview that Smith was very downbeat on Tomkins performance yet couldn't wait to bring Myler into the conversation.

Know doubt Smith will start tapping up Graham while he's got him in camp.

I fully expect smith to step down as england coach when the 4 nations is finished to concentrate on club rugby. The only reason he is still there is because we did not have much time to find a replacement when he signed for warrington. I do think the guy is a good club coach but he has been turd for england so far.
