O'Neill has been absolutely everywhere in defence. We've been on the back foot most of the game - I'm not sure many hookers would be able to thrive in that half. Team penalties and errors are costing us. Problems if Thompson has failed his HIA which is likely if we're honest.

I’d like to see his missed tackle count, he’s been bumped off too much and not won the contact. The Thompson thing sums up the game though, Kendall allowing a free for all when it’s Saints defending.

I’d like to see Wardle get at Hurrell in the second half think there is some success to be had there.

Saints probably feel like they should be up by more but their clunky attack and excellent line defence by us has kept it so close.

Sky Sports is now reffing the game. Every player needs to stay down when they feel contact so that we can have 7v7 once they get time to clip the contact for the big screen. We’ve been terrible with our discipline but that pitch is a death trap.

Worst reffing performance of a generation. They needed all that help and beat us in the last few minutes. Saints won't be anywhere near us at seasons end, i am more confident about that now. Utter crap from the ref, abysmal.

I can handle losing, I can't deal with decisions like that, that change games, if that's the new normal then this game is in the toilet.

Despite a poor ref performance I do think our discipline has let us down. And we played very conservatively. But the good news is that if that is the best Saints can do on their own pitch we will have no worries by the end of the season.
