| Quote moto748="moto748"I've been out of town all day, and I wasn't even going to think about tickets until tomorrow, but just now, I thought, I'd better have a look. So going into the link on the club website, all I'm seeing is Coach Travel on Coach 12, Coach Travel on Coach 13, etc. No mention of actual tickets at all. And when I did click on one of the coach options, all I got was Online Sales Closed. This really is rubbish. We (sadly) expect it from the RFL, but the club should have done a lot better.
My next thought was, queue at the stadium tomorrow. But is that the best move? ATEOTD, OT won't sell out, will it? Is it better to wait a few days, and try the RFL site? But I suppose the club will be given a further allocation at some point? Have people really bought tickets through Man Utd?'"
It won't sell out - just depends on how much you want to sit in the Wigan end. You could get tickets from the RFL easily in the stand opposite to ours but just pot luck whether you end up in amongst the small set of Catalans fans, neutrals or the Wigan fans who will bought there after not getting them in our end today.
I'd wait till tomorrow morning and see if the club puts anything on the website. Sounds like they've asked the RFL for more tickets. Why on earth only 8k were released initially is the confusing one.

| Sounds like the clubs initial allocation sold out but they’ve not confirmed that. When the ground is likely to be only two thirds full, we’ll surely get another good sized allocation. The club really could do with letting people know what the deal is.

| Thanks, guys. Yes, it absolutely seems what we need now is an announcement from the club ASAP. But what I'm reading about people queuing for literally hours today, and still walking away empty-handed, whilst blokes in front of them were buying 50 tickets at a time? This is not acceptable.

| All the good work over the last two years, in regards getting the real fans involved in the culture has totally disappeared with this debacle. We must have 8000 season ticket holders, to be allocated 8000 tickets is . Sure it won't sell out, but that is totally not the point . How many season ticket holders where left in the queue who came away without tickets Anyone who has bought a season ticket, it says on the pack, priority will be given to season ticket holders.

| The club has announced the initial allocation has sold out, a further allocation is expected but no info on this yet. Seems a bit of a shambles, why only give Wigan 8k? Surely we should have got 20k minimum? I also think based on the anticipated low crowd they should be looking to sell out the bottom 2 tiers first to make it look better on the eye and create a better atmosphere.

| This is pure speculation, but I wonder if the allocation is anything to do with the text that was going around at the start of last week? Not sure if anyone else got it, but I know had it forwarded to myself a couple of times. You could book category 5 tickets using the code bld30 and basically get them for free (you just paid for posting). When I originally checked they were for the end we've now been allocated.
I'm sure plenty of people booked via this method. Not sure if they'll turn up to the actual game, as it's a free ticket etc but it will have definitely have eaten into the amount available.

Due to high demand on the first day of sales, our initial allocation of tickets has sold out.
A further allocation is expected and further information will be shared when these are available.
Not helpful to anybody queueing up for a 9am opening time.

| Catalans have sold over 1000 already.
Hope they at least double it.

| Waiting for these tickets to be released is worse than waiting for an eBay auction to end.
Refreshing every few seconds in the hope of something changing.

| And if anyone is thinking of phoning for tickets, because they STILL haven't released anything to the ticketing website - Once you get past the engaged tone (they only have 30 lines), the queue time is around 2hrs.

| I went to the TO at about 2.30. They only had behind the goals. I don't want that for a big match. There must be 30,000 seats on the two sides at OT. How about sending a few to Wigan, RFL? Still, I got a coach ticket. And at this rate I may not use it.
