| What a shame about the Field injury. Put a real dampener on the win but our best performance all year. Just better all round.

| Think there is still considerable improvement to be had, but after the initial spell only one team looked like winning it and really we dominated the ruck, physicality, speed of the game, looked fitter, everything really.
Smith was very good, King really solid, thought Havard went really well tonight, KPP looked like a man who'd had a kick up the backside and responded, Miski came in did the job and picked up a brace, and French is just simply our biggest talent and has to stay at 1 and to get his hands on the ball as much as possible.
Only downside is Jai's injury. Looked like his Hammy so you'd assume that's him out of Friday (and beyond). Gonna have to find the solution(s) in the halves now.

| Two best players in the team get their hands on the ball and we produce that. O’Neill helped too, easily his best game for us.

I’m going to get slated for being the founding member of the King non scapegoat fan club, but I thought he was outstanding tonight.
Props took it up a level tonight.
Shorrocks added a very nice dimension.
Smith though ran the show, man of match for me.

| Forwards much better and surprise surprise Smith had a better game , organised things very well that is when he is at his best. Miski I thought fitted in really well - looked solid all game. French looks so much better at FB - really is wasted on the wing. Really the whole team looked better - maybe the last 20 against Salford was a wake up call.
Tough call next week on stand-off - Field and Cust both looking likely to be out (is Tommy still fit? ) think maybe Powell at 6 with O'Neil starting?

| The signs were there in the first half. We were defending with intent and moving the ball to the edges a lot easier (see Miski and Wardle getting the ball on the last and forcing drop outs).
Looks daft now that we ever moved French from full back that pass for Miski’s first try was sensational.
Harry Smith is a quality player. We’ve had a growing pains but he’s really developing.
Havard was outstanding too and seemed to play for a full hour.
Unfortunate about Field but every team has injuries, hopefully nothing too bad. Everyone else will need to step up.
Bring on next week

Field not looking good for Friday, and neither is Cust.
