No, not now or ever. Yes, the club have dealt with this in a really amateurish way whilst misleading the fans but the fact remains that Edwards agreed terms and was happy to take part in the press conferences etc announcing his appointment from 2020.
To then play this out in the media the way he did is unforgivable. He's had his head turned and is now sticking 2 fingers up at the club who gave him the opportunity to become the player he was. You just don't do that to a club you claim to love.

I don’t think we should stoop to that level, instead we should remember to honour the lads who lost their lives.

Woiuldn't agree with booing, if he's presenting a trophy to one of our lads.
A better idea might just be utter silence from the moment he's announced on the pitch until he actually hands over the trophy, then applause for the recipient.
An even better idea is the one above, where we let PJ do the presentation. |
