And rightly so.

Wether HH was deliberately going for a cannonball tackle or wether he was going in with the attempt to be above the knee only he will know. What is beyond question is Westwood knew exactly he was doing in attempting to get Smith off the filed by damaging his eye.

I do have issue with a player going in 3rd man below the knee. It was about time any contact by the 3rd player below the knee on a player was banned from the game. Every supporter sees his own side with rose tinted glasses. All sides will do anything to get an advantage sometimes it goes beyond that and rules come into the game to attempt to eradicate it from the game.

Problem i have with Westwood is the same as a 3rd man. The player is in a vulnerable position and can not defend or protect himself.
