Quins were dreadful but seriously some of the plays we made were brilliant and tbf i couldn't see too many teams competing with us, i was genuinely stunned with some of the work our guys did.

i was being playful, give credit where it's due, Wigans defence is 2nd to none, i wouldn't argue otherwise.
Likewise at this very moment Wire are brilliant going forward and your men will/should be working overtime on Friday to keep us out.

One thing i do hope for though is the quality of the games we had last season, i know the majority of you guys see the saints game as 'your' derby but you can't argue that Wigan/Wire games are ever anything but great entertainment. The most enjoyable fixture for me personally of the season win or lose.

I'll agree for this year at least. I personally don't get too hyped about local derbies. Last week's game was massive, this one even more so. Given that we are in front of both Saints and Leeds and that you now have a top team makes this game more important to me than previous encounters. Bring it on!

i don't think the wire attack will be as good as it was against quins, and similarily, I don't think our defence would be able to keep them out for as long as we did. But it should be a cracker !

That was some of the best defence I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It also show's that a great mentality and coaching methods are being taught throughout the club with so many youngsters slotting in so effortlessly.

Its great to see, and its something you dont see an awful lot of these days in RL, but it was great to see the lads celebrate set after set after set on our line with back slaps, high fives and general Richie Mathers actions.

Walking back towards us after Hoffmans try, we was all singing 'Championees' and you could see Tommy smiling, laughing and telling us to keep going. I love to see the pride they have in being the best team in the competition and the way they want to carry it on, with or without 8 first team players. Afterall, thats why were Champions.

If I ever doubted the spirit within the club after the debacle with Martin Gleeson, well the lads proved me wrong on Friday.

It's a different kind of rivalry, with Saints it's mutual respect, Warrington fans seem to be a lot more arrogant despite no real substance to back it up. I was about to say Knowsley Road swings it then I remembered we don't have that to look forward to anymore

No. It's taking over for the amount of excrement that's posted on both forums.

How are we arrogant? We have been the most succesfull team in british RL the past two seasons. We have won half of the four trophies on offer. That isn't arrogant or opinion, that's fact.
