Also Sam was signed long term anyway, but it was way back in June 2009 that they announced that. He was still early in his career then. Lot of water under the bridge since then and clearly improved terms more than earned.

Sam already had a four-year deal and has just added another year on, Logan's isn't a new contract as such, the question was asked about his contract and IL said he had a three-year-deal so I presume that was done when he got promoted to the first-team squad.
