Rollin Pin pasties are abysmal, by the way (I can't be seen to be eating pies
Take the crust off it. You'll get away with it then

I heard she ended up seeing a lot of Blackburns night life.......... wrapped in a pitta blanket with some salad and a splash of chilli sauce to keep her warm. Moral of the story - don't eat kebabs in Blackburn, they may not be quite what they seem'"
Brilliant.

| Pooles pies pastry is too crumbly and too much flour on them, the gravy is too thin but the meat aint bad.
Pimbletts - Meat and potato pies and pasties the best that have graced this earth but has sadly shut down.
Galloways - Chunky steak although slightly salty.
Cottams - Hot pots
Best pies ever!

Wouldn't be of Bedford origin, in that case Jeff?
I always went to the shop opposite the cemetery (we were based in the upper school) but I think they were Dawson's as well actually.

| If I've got the money It's Greenalghs all the way for their steak an ale pies. mmmmm
If I'm running on a budget then it'll be gallaways for a chunky steak. Everytime I come home to visit my mum and dad i'll nip across the road from the train station to get one.
I'm living out in Manchester and haven't found a decent pie shop near me, (greggs doesn't count cause its a pasty place! ) so I nip to the supermarket and get a peters pie.
I picked up a peters pie because it had super league players on the packet and I'm sad like that, but they're really nice. The steak one is brilliant.

| If you were talking about the frozen ones in asda then yeah they're good. They will never compare to a fresh pie but as far as frozen cook at home pies go they're brilliant and well worth a try.

| I bought two pooles pies a year or so ago I had one bite out of a meat n prayter and it tasted like someone had spilled a load of vinegar in it, it was absolutely vile. I have never nor will I ever buy another one I confine myself to Greenhalgh's or Sergeants now.
