Much to the annoyance of the coach - there'll be just me this week.

Last week of the regular season, but still a lot to play for. Hudds could go third, we could go down to sixth. I hope we get a good turn out, as it's a long way to go for a shiite game.

Yeah it's true due to engineering as they'll be going via the Halifax line although only after 10am there is a couple of trains early though! It happens every year at this time of year till december! You can get to Dewsbury and come back to Hudds though as the works will be in the stanedge tunnel. Then going back change at Manchester as there is an hourly airport train operating from Huddersfield.

Been to Bolton station this morning£11.90 return on Sunday leave Bolton at 9.31 arrive Huddersfield arrive Huddersfield 10.53 one change at Manchester Victoria
Back 18.04 one change Manchester Victoria arrive back in Bolton 19.19.

Quite a few of the other later ones are on Rail replacement buses.

Regarding league position yes it won't change anything but both sides will want to take a winning run into the play offs.

Big game for Wigan I reckon.

If we beat Hudds we'll have beaten all our seven play off rivals this season. More significantly perhaps would be the fact only St Helens from the top 8 would have won the last match against us (and we came close to winning that one). Win this and we'll be the play off side going in with the best form. Just a shame our recent form hasn't rewarded with a top 4 spot. But I'd quite fancy going to a Week 1 loser and winning should we get that far because experience of winning play off eliminators will count hugely in our favour - whether we play Saints, Hull KR or Hudds.

Huddersfield probably need a game like this. I know they won last week but most National League sides would beat Celtic at the moment.

I'd fancy us against anyone in the 8 at the mo, but I really want to avoid Bradford in week 1. Them getting in the 8 after being all but out will lift them so much (similar to us in 2007)
