Call us crap if you like. But trust me, there's absolutely nothing negative you can say about Wigan that hasn't already been said and mulled over relentlessly on this message board. You need to be more concerned about your own club, who seem to be unravelling with astonishing speed.

If it's any consolation, we've been there too. In fact, we fell from a higher place (beating Brisbane in Brisbane in '94, with our two first choice props unavailable) to a much lower depth (almost getting relegated). So things could be worse for you - at least you haven't got the relegation spectre at your shoulder. Not that greater humiliation doesn't await you if you don't arrest this all-round collapse that seens to be going on at Odsal.

By all means find solace in the fact that a poor Wigan side only just beat you.
